P?edm?t: [Moon] G3LTF contest operation

"I will start at 0000 Saturday on 23cm and probably stay on that band
throughout that pass. If I cant find enough to work I will QSY to 70cm. At
moonrise Saturday, 2200 approximately, I will be on 70cm but as we have a
nasty storm approaching Southern England which is scheduled to hit early
Sunday I dont expect to be able to operate for long, maybe until midnight
Saturday. I hope to work some new ones... small stations please call CQ
after you?ve worked all the big guys...we have SDRs, we can see you easily.

6m dish, CP on 23cm, full linear polarisation rotation on 70cm. CW only.
Freq. probably between .005 and .040 on 23cm and .010 to .035 on 70cm

Looking doubtful for 23cm this weekend. Deep into troubleshooting
the digital tracking indicator and resoldering contacts. LED arrays
start up and fade away let full dc voltage is there. Good chance I
will have to rebuild the driver/display boards to eliminate
unreliable wire-wrap. And winds are kicking above 20 mph (32kph)
which is too high to hold dish on point at 1296.

MR is 0630utc Saturday (10:30pm local time Friday) so I will try
2m-eme (not using logger) and calling CQ 1st 144.116 with 4x XP20 + 1300w+.

Had some noise issues with the Hpol preamp last time I ran so might
only receive Vpol (I can transmit either). So if you have H/V pol
you might take into consideration that I might not be able to switch
pol on Rx (normally run adaptive receive with MAP65).

I will run as long as I can stay awake Saturday. I have to QRT from
1900-2000utc to run local 2m-SSB net. Probably take a break after
that until near MS when EU is again visible (2100-2230utc). MR
Sunday is 0800utc (11pm).

I took the suggestion of Bill N1DNN - unchecking the Force Center Frequency
box.

Everything is good now ! Lots of decodes, no Fortran errors. Seems like
all is working exactly like it should.

It's interesting- in the manual it says to check the Force Center Frequency
Box if you are using an SDR with the
si570 chip, but it also says to check this box if you are NOT using an SDR
with the si570 chip. Maybe I'm not
understanding this, but it doesn't seem like it could work both ways?

The SDRplay does not have the si570 chip, if you check the Force Center
Frequency box it will crash with the
Fortran error (at least mine did)

Thank you Bill !! I'm glad it was an easy fix.
