Hi all, I just wanted to comment on the excellent performance of the Bert Modderman PE1RKI 140W SSPA. The small town system on the GF15 used to power the CX1AA is based on Bert's 140W SSPA. Although I respected all of Bert's recommendations to keep the SSPA cool and dry, I was still fearful of its prolonged use in an activity like CX1AA's. A power and temperature control was added as a precaution. The last weekend was intense, just a few minutes free to cool the SSPA, but the module never exceeded 40 degrees Celsius and did not present any problem during the 4 hours of work each day.
