another used tube which showed small screen and control grid static current when HV first
turned on. After about 16 hours of filament voltage on it appears the residual current
with HV on has dropped control grid to zero, screen grid to several mA. I am presuming
this is a good indication of reduced free ion count in the vacuum. KN6U Ron Lucerne

I was not able to get on today for the Net.
I did receive a couple of notes via email, so sending them along.
I understand some of the reflectors handle only plain text so I'll try and
remember to send as such.

I was only able to bring up the system for about an hour near
my western limit (30 degrees) but heard NA4N well.
Libration noticibly disrupting CW copy. Hope to work some of the stations
I missed in the next opportunity.
