New subject: ON0EME not tracking the moon
I got a report from Luis, EA5DOM and José EA3HMJ that the antenna and moon position in the
monitoring and control gave a different position.
I checked and tried to move the antenna remotely, but the position stays at the last moon
set position.
It seems that the power supply for the AZ and EL motors failed.
I am in my EA5 location at the moment and will return back to Belgium next Tuesday, sept
29. The ON0EME 1296 beacon will be repaired next week.

New subject: ON0EME tracking the moon
HI,
Walter went to the beacon this morning and changed the tracking motor power supplies.
One of the Astec 24VDC was the problem.
ON0EME 1296 moonbeacon is tracking the moon again and power output seems nominal.
Reception reports are welcome.

New subject: ON0EME tracking the moon
Thank you for your efforts. A very useful beacon. Very good signal here in FM19dv
tonight. Speaker copy on my 3 meter dish with a little effort.
My only complaint is the frequency. Many rigs have spurious signals at 1296.000 plus or
minus.
