It was very dark here tonight. Commercial power
outage. Only light for miles was our house running with the 6500w Honda Gen :-)
You could see about three weak lights probably battery operated in some windows across
the lake.
It gets very dark in Alaska when the power goes away!
However a few nights ago it was very clear and one could drive down the road by the light
of the full Moon. Snow covered landscape reflects Moonlight exceptionally well. Years
ago one of my favorite things was to take my sled dogs for a run by Moonlight on a clear
night. Wonderfully quiet beauty with only the slight swish of the sled runners.
