Hi all. I am using Prositel rotors for my HF towers and eme system. The old Prositel rotors are using motors with a fan. The motor is straight up. What I have done is remove the fan of the motor and put a magnet on the shaft, where the fan was. A reed contact gives me the pulses I need. This is working fine! The newer Prositel rotors have different motors with no fan... I am using Green Heron control boxes to control all my rotors. For the newer rotors I have to use the potentiometer. I don't like this because calibration is difficult. Is there anyone who uses a modern Prositel rotor with potentiometer who CHANGED this to a reed contact system?
