Bob,
Good point. I have a K3.
But an idea popped up. Elecraft has a frequency correction unit
(EXREF) that corrects VCO drift by comparing with 10-MHz. The K3
also enables manual frequency correction via the Config
Menu. Perhaps a firmware mod could accomplish a similar frequency
shift based on computer estimate of Doppler?
But then maybe it would be simpler to write code to enable Tx
frequency change during Tx. I guess that depends on the synthesizer
being able to maintain lock with shift in frequency. If freq. change
introduces a short period of unlocked tuning that might mess up
digital modulation.

Hello,
I have a Thomson TWT ( without power Supply ) TH3508 available for the
cost of shipping to a good EME home ( weight around 4Kg with packing )
It is a 250W C Band tube, I don't know its status ( untested ).

Hey guy ,
I see a lot of guys with hi end dish drives using the slew drives , they are a precision drives with zero backlash . Since I’m in the stages of building a big array I’m looking to use a 12inch version. It’s the ZE12A, Since This unit will handle a big antenna array i’m Building or later if I decide to use a large dish.
The problem I’m finding is the interface controller to drive it and the heavy duty jack I would require. I know what is require but I can’t find anyone who could supply a controller kit or PCB so I could build my own . I’ve searched around but can’t find a source , like the one mentioned on OE5JFL website. Ok1DFC uses these as well.
So does any know of a source for the PCB for this controller or a kit ? I could get be big Ras spid HR ,but they cost even more and no where near the Resolution . Once I can build a controller for this slew drive I’ll order in the unit , they are like 65 kg !
Cheers guys.
Ps Ive started a blog on my return to ham radio after a 20+ year break.

Hi all,
After successfully making my first EME contacts during the ARRL contest
(thanks to DL7APV, UA3PTW, and HB9Q!), I am seeking more!
I will be on 432 at some point this weekend with my single yagi and 100 W.
Hope to work you!
