Hi EME 'rs
I have for sale a Kuhne MKU 144 G2 (144/28Mhz) transverter, and a PLL
stabilised (10mhz ref input ready) MKU XO PLL, 116MHZ
working as unit
Interested?, just give me a hint.

>
> I Mentioned in previous posts was the build of my LDMOs amp , since I had the room inside , I very large heat sink with plenty off room so I added in the 2meter LDMOs pallet as well. The 2 meter LDMOS I picked up from a member here, and the 70cm is based on the W6PQL dual LDMOs board, who does a very fine job on these kits.
> This is the best way as we can share the other items between the amps , the meters, power supply, sequencer, fans, can all be shared as only one amp is run any one time. A simple switching with dc relays to switch between bands using a toggle switch.
>
> It's possible to do a 70cm and 23m version with the same idea. My next build in the new year is the 23cm LDMOs kit by W6PQL , things have advanced quite a bit with the availability of the new device on 23 cm that gives a very hi power for such a device.

Hi Bill,
Yes that's luck , just a diode .
The trouble is the unit is well sealed up , so not the average device to repair . I still don't have a circuit diagram and the identity of the device . This model also has to be used with a sequencer so together they add up to an expensive pair .
I hope to repair mine and will also be building a split system for TX/Rx which is a better way and easy to service and repair.
I am building an LDMOs amp , and since there is room in the case and a large heatsink I'll be fitting a pair of LDMOS amps in there , this will then allow me to share the 50v power supply , ( the power supply is the most expensive unit in there ) ,sequencer, meters etc , saving a fair bit on building two separate amps. Just a few small dc relays with a switch to change between the two bands 2m and 70cm ).
The other option I was thinking of with the MHP-200 , as it's a very expensive mast amp , ( over £500 here in the uk ,not including the sequencer ). Is to add in an rf sense circuit internally , this would switch the LNA to transmit mode in the event the sequence is bypassed for some reason which can happen. A guy from the UK theDX shop ( where it was purchased has offered are repair for the MHP-200. So if a can't repair it myself I'll have it shipped out for repair.

My MHP-200 failed last year. I assumed it was the amplifier device. Upon return to SSB for repair, I learned I had blown a “diode”. It was replaced and returned for a small charge.

I'm looking for a flat ribbon cable that is faulty in my IC910. The
cable is from the main pcb to the display pcb.
Display pcb to main pcb order number 6510022280 S.connector
30FLT-SM1-TBT (J8 on display pcb to J1151 on main pcb approx 220mm in length.
According to Icom Australia who has been in contact with Icom Japan
this cable is no longer available. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. Ian VK3AXH
Does your bio page on QRZ.com show the bands you are active on, if not, why not ?
Update your bio and when band/frequency is googled, you show up when someone is googling frequency and or band thus showing all who are active on the microwave frequencies.
AND,
If you have a website, list the bands there also, and when band/frequency is googled, you show up when someone is googling frequency and or band thus showing all who are active on the microwave frequencies.

Subject: Re: [OVHFA] [RVHFG] 3456 Under Attack?
I am also a member of the RSGB, and 4 years ago there was a push in the UK
to reassign the 9 cm band.
Someone at OFCOM did a web search on 9 cm, got no UK hits, so decided there was
zero activity on the band. Yes, poor choice of key words.
So just about everyone in the UKuG who had a website put in a 9 cm section.
(I listed all my antennas that worked on 3456 MHz in a separate box).
Plenty of hits a few months later.. So far they still have the band.
In short, making sure Google sees 3456/9cm activity, construction, tips, etc. has advantages.

when you are sleeping beside the Elephant … one has to be cautious.
Same issue with everyone on Ft8 on 6 m … been flagging that too…its a double edged sword.

It is silly to "not invest in more Ghz till the final decisions have been made."
Bands of *all* services are "under attack" as special interests jockey for position. Even commercial TV has lost spectrum.
The best way for us to lose spectrum permanently is to not activate.
Microwave band activation is incredibly inexpensive.
Don't let spectrum loos become a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Hi Dana and all,
I have not tried to follow all that is contained here. If the FCC follows through with the proposals, will Canada
shake hands and copy, or will we hold our ground? These bands are not dx bands which allows for a lot more
flexibility. Not investing in more Ghz till the final decisions have been made.
