Hello friends
Some of you who worked Dan VE6XH may be under the impression that Dan is in Zone 2 for WAZ. In fact he is in zone 4 but for ITU he is in Zone 2. Regardless have fun working Dan. Saw the pile up on him was unbelievable.
Zone 2 is part of North EASTERN Quebec, Labrador part of Newfoundland. NUNUVUT territory ELSMER island ect ect.
I am about 1000KM from Zone 2 which by Canadian standard is very close but I would need a small linear SSPA & 1 Yagi 17 elements or 2X9 & 700 watts to make a go of it.

The 9 cm CW leg of the contest proved to be filled with great activity
and good conditions.
Weather was rainy but no heavy wind to contend with which made aiming
relatively easy.
Stations worked were as follows:
KL6M (Mike was very loud), ES5PC, OK1KIR, SP6OPN, PA3DZL, PA0BAT, WB2BYP
#40, G4CCH, DF3RU, DL1YMK, OZ6OL #41, K2UYH, OK1CS #42, HB9Q, WA6PY,
VE4MA, SM6PGP #43, OK1CA, OF2DG.
I also heard but could not get their attention; LX1DB, WA9FWD, 9A5AA.
Thanks to all for a great weekend and hope to see many of you on 5760
