Corrected Section:
CONDITIONS: The main event in Jan was the 1296 SSB Funtest. SSB EME QSOs are considered
a major achievement, but when combined with frosty cold weather (WX), you have the pinnacle
of contest challenges. This Jan was true to form with bad WX throughout much of the EME World.
However, despite the WX, there was still a good turnout. The top fun maker for the first time
is the PI9CAM group with 912 points, followed by I1NDP with 504 points and G3LTF with 459
points – see reports in this newsletter (NL).
Coming up on 11/12 Feb is the 2 m and 70 cm DUBUS EME CW Contest, discussed below. There

I am a bit confused by 432Mhz and above website and newsletter postings.
Is there another SSB contest this weekend then 144/432Mhz Dubus CW contest is Feb 11/12 (not Feb 4/5 as listed in newsletter)?
Thought the SSB FunTest already occurred earlier this month. But I will try SSB this weekend on 1296 if anyone interested.

Thinking of buying a Maya soundcard.
I am running Win10, 64-bit. Which model to buy to use with Linrad/MAP65 and
so on? Would prefer PCI-e, but might have computer with PCI.
Cheers

Hello all friends,
For a certain testing of power metering equipment I need to loan a smaller
23cm PA. Around 50W or a bit more. So nothing really special. But it will
be sent to an address in CA, so int the state or at least in the US would
be fine. If you do want to loan it but sell it, I will buy it.
Please email me off list.

hi
andy( g4jnt ) was so kind to build a new beacon driver.the beacon now
can be switched between JT4-F and QRA64-D.the reason is to look if
there are any advantages by using one of these modes.the gps module of
the new beacon driver also delivers correct timing on its nmea output
after a delay of up to 12 minutes after switch on,needed to aquire the
leap-second offset.i will change between the modes by request.thank you
andy for your engagement.
the beacon will be switched up at moonrise (JO54) on saturday
