Hi all
HB9Q is now QRV on 1296, 23xx and 3400 MHz with the new 10m solid dish. QSY
from one band to the other takes less than 1 minute. We are especially
interested to work QRP stations using single yagi or small dishes and low
power. We are equipped to work CW, JT65c, SSB and SSTV on all bands.
Although the optimization is still ongoing, and may never stop, we are very
happy with the first results. The new dish is performing 3dB better on 1296
and more than 5dB on 23xx then our mash dish. For more information about the
equipment please visit www.hb9q.ch on the 1296, 23xx and 3400 sections.
Photos will soon be added to the home-page. If you like to work us please
contact me by e-mail, I'm happy to let you know when we are active (we
usually are QRV on short notice, also during workdays). Please look also for
us on the HB9Q EME loggers, when active we are always stand-by there.
Looking forward to work you soon!

Hi all,
sorry for the wrong/not EME related topic but it is the best reflector I
know to reach active VHF guys.
As you may know we at MMMonVHF.de have a good beacon list as well
interactive beacon map.
The map still misses some beacons from 6m up to GHz located in America
(north - south) so especially American update is needed.
I want to ask you if you may please update our list:
http://www.mmmonvhf.de/bcn_contact.php
Also you can correct information at any beacon if you click on the
list(map on details.
Any other world beacon update is very welcome.
*THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP !!*

Hello Andreas,
Congratulations very well done. I also believe the VE contact was one way
only.
I was looking at the software required and have been trying to find a server
to download aircraft information. Can you provide me with any further
information?
I was in Arizona USA this winter and tried on 10 Ghz with some W6s but could
really use the help of a program like DL2AF's

Hello,
Has someone a schematic diagram (user manual I have) for the sequencer DCW2004 from SSB electronic?
My DCW2004 doesn't work anymore...
Thanks

Work / operation now over.
Was a very interesting few days operating, just wish I had more time.
Worked (this trip) 41 initials, and in the earlier operation 26 initials.
Will be 'out and about' again soon with the portable equipment when
it arrives back from the Shetland islands. IO76 is possible in June as
will be there for a short break.
Works wants me in Cornwall (IN79) later in the year, so yet another
rare square and also a few squares along the South coast of England.

Next month I will be on a short work trip to the Shetland Islands, mostly in IP90
but might have a very short time in IO99, doubtful but possible.
I have already tested my portable equipment up there, but this time have got the
amplifier working much better, so up to 400 Watt into 2X14 element yagi's.
Dates, weather permitting are from 6th May to 8th May, with possibly 8th May
from IO99.
My present intentions are to run from around 05:00 to 08:00 GMT, and another
session around 17:00 to moonset.
Possibly I will also be on around dinner time (11:00G).
If (as last time) I have N0UK available, will announce on there, if not watch LiveCQ
as I will CQ for at least 15 minutes.
No skeds please !. If you see me, call me.
This will be my last time on the Shetland islands. Been up there mostly with meteorscatter,
but now my work should be finished and handed over.
I cannot find dates but think the islands were last activated in the mid 1980's, GM4IPK did
have a reasonably good setup but has been QRT now for a long time.

Hello Mike,
on weekend May11-12, 2013 OK1KIR tested the band 2400 +/-several MHz and found it free of any interference, just pure noise.
>From our view the change from 2424 to around 2400 MHz would be highly appreciated as we do suffer from severe WiFi interference on 2424 MHz.
