Looking to buy a small VHF/2M amp for a driver for my KW amp
50 to 80 watts out with----------- 5 to 15 watts of drive
Must be one kicking around someone’s shack.

I plan to be on 13cm on the first moon pass, (no VK window and restricted JA window due to low declination) To remind everyone, in G, DL, PA, we can only transmit on 2320MHz. I will be listening crossband in the appropriate windows on 2304 and 2424MHz.
On the second pass I will start on 6cm and may change to 9cm later in the day. That will depend on the wind level, which is hard to predict at the moment, and whether I feel up to changing feeds that many times!
PS... It was pretty clever of our eme community to arrange contests covering 2m to 47GHz on one weekend!!

13cm 6m dish + 250W
9cm 6m dish + 28W
6cm 4.5m dish +22W
Operated on 13 & 6cm last weekend, cw random. No loggers were used, no skeds either.
I have been troubled by a flu with left ear quite blocked...so some less sensitivity…hi, but no complaints.
Apart from Sunday’s moonrise, due to other commitments I could not follow the respective 6/13cm times band plan which I had posted.
On 6cm I had constant medium to big pointing errors in az-el in random directions, making it impossible to track the moon in the normal manual manner, as I do with all bands. So followed its noise. Of course being able to initially find it each time was a big headache…with -3db(a)0.63 degrees.
Last weekend results 2.3GHz & up:

Sun-noise prevented me from collecting some screen-shots of eme
signals on Linrad or MAP65 today. High Aurora levels may do the same
tomorrow and I have a presentation that needs to be completed tomorrow.
I wonder if any of you have some Linrad and MAP-65 screen-shots of
eme signals (jpeg files) that I might include as examples in my
presentation. I do have the sample data file for running MAP-65
which I can show. Also need some examples of varying polarity
displays on Linrad. I can simulate that but real signals would be better.
I will take a look at Moonrise at 1900utc to see if I can view any
activity, but the array has to be lowered and wx may dictate when
that happens tomorrow (we leave on two-week vacation on
Thursday). The presentation is titled "Adaptive Reception of
Dual-Polarity EME Signals Using Linrad" to be presented to the 2011
PNWVHFS Conference in Bend, OR. Power-Point and Acrobat (pdf)
versions of the paper will be linked from my website after the conference.
Thanks,

I am looking for the following coax adapter: LC male to 7/16 DIN (male or
female). My 1 5/8 feedline to the EME array happens to have LC connectors
and I want to minimize the use of type N connectors.

Hi All
The 3846 Khz EME watering hole has been around for many years.
I am not net control or anything like that. I am just trying to get the thing going again.
It was centered around the east coast gang before. I am way out here in the midwest corn fields.
0030 is also just a random time. For years there were people on there earlier than that and late into the night.
After K1RQG died everyone vanished.
Monday and thursday are suggested as a starting point but I get in there every night and make some noise.
If everyone else will do the same we can get it up and running like before.
